Barcelona line up David Villa as replacement striker, but Inter are also interested in the Cameroonian
Manchester City's pursuit of Samuel Eto'o of Barcelona took a big step forward after it emerged that the Spanish club had bid £38.5m for a replacement striker - David Villa of Valencia.
Barcelona would have to sell in order to fund the move for Villa says the Times and will make room for him by offloading Eto'o. Inter Milan are also interested in the Cameroonian hitman, but City will easily outbid them. They are prepared to make Eto'o the highest paid player in the Premier League as well as fork out the full asking price of £25m...
