Red top tales: KK wants Beckingham Palace, Cowell intruder found on shelf

REALITY star Kim Kardashian is looking to buy a property in Britain and she has her eye on the Beckhams' £18m mansion in Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire, according to The Sun. She has spoken to estate agents in LA to arrange a viewing of the 17-acre property, which boasts two swimming pools, a golf course, a helipad and petting zoo. Victoria and David Beckham are selling the mansion, dubbed 'Beckingham Palace', having settled in Los Angeles. Kardashian apparently plans to rent it out to rich Beckham fans.

The intruder who broke into Simon Cowell's £9 million London home was found by armed officers hiding on a seven-foot high shelf in a blood-smeared walk-in wardrobe in the X-Factor judge's bedroom, according to the Daily Mail. Police were called after Cowell came face-to-face with Leanne Zaloumis, 29, who was standing outside his smashed bathroom window holding a rock over her head, her hands dripping with blood.

Justin Bieber is facing legal action over a Twitter prank that resulted in two Texans receiving over 1,000 phone calls from the teen star's fans, according to TMZ. Earlier this month, Bieber tweeted a phone number with the last digit missing and the call-to-action: "Call me now." Some of Bieber's 19 million followers proceeded to guess the final digit - and it seems many of them guessed the two Texans' numbers. Their lawyer said her clients had received "over 1,000 phone calls at all hours of the day" - and they want compensation for Bieber's "reckless" behaviour.

Simon Parkes insists that the extraterrestrial stood by his cot when he was a baby and "two green stick things appeared", the Metro reports. He says: "I thought: 'They're not mummy's hands, mummy's are pink.'" Parkes claims the alien, who had huge eyes and tiny nostrils, entered his mind through his eyes and sent a message into his brain, saying: "I am your real mother, I am your more important mother." The Labour councillor also claims he was abducted by an alien doctor (dressed as a waiter) who offered to cure his chicken pox.

When asked to take a breathalyser test, he failed and had to spend several hours behind bars before posting bail. Under California laws, he could face six months in jail, a six-month driving licence ban and a $1,000 fine if found guilty.

Aslam Parvez, 55, and his wife Shameem, 56, have six children, while two of Aslam's brothers and a sister are also white-skinned and have five albino children between them. The 16 relatives, all of whom live within five minutes of each other in the Midlands city, have beaten the previous record-holders, the ten-strong Pullan family from Delhi, India, into second place.
