No way, Pedro! Barcelona warn a trip of English clubs that the playmaker is staying put, while Manchester United have drawn a blank with their pursuit of Porto defender Danilo.

•ŸŸ Get your grubby paws off Pedro! That's the message from Barcelona, who, according to the Daily Star, have issued a "hands-off" warning to Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal. The three clubs have all been linked with the 27-year-old playmaker in recent months but in an interview with Spanish TV, Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida had this to say on the matter of a possible transfer to England in the summer: "Pedro has an essential role here at Barcelona. He is a very important player." The Star says that Barcelona are aware of English interest and the figure of £22m has been mooted in some quarters, but Braida is adamant that Pedro has a future at the Camp Nou despite competition for places from the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
