Unseen 9/11 footage of twin towers burning

Previously unreleased New York Police footage of the World Trade Centre burning and collapsing

Footage of a burning World Trade Center, taken on September 11 2001 by a New York police department helicopter, has been leaked by the whistleblowing website Cryptome.

The video (above) was passed to the website by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, who obtained it from New York City authorities under a Freedom of Information request.

The footage shows the extent of the dust clouds that engulfed Manhatten following the collapse of the towers.

The collapse of the north tower is at around 12 mins 30 seconds, at which point the man filming it can be heard to comment, "That's it, that's the biggest disaster in the world right there".

Oddly, the actual collapse of both towers cannot be seen, with the film flicking seemlessly between before and after footage. Conspiracy theorists assert that this is evidence that government-planted explosives, rather than the impact of the planes, caused the World Trade Center to collapse. ·

Why do you keep "publishing" video content which I am then unable to watch because it has been disabled by it's owner?? This is not the first occasion, is this simply to gain "hits"? If you can't show it don't say you can, or give us a link!
