The ‘Ocean’s Eleven’-style raid was carried out in front of media and thousands of online fans
An audacious raid saw four masked men invade the German leg of the European Poker Tour in Berlin on Saturday afternoon - in front of players, the gambling press well as tens of thousands of poker fans watching online.
The men, who were armed with handguns and a machete, reportedly remain at large following the high-stakes raid. They allegedly made off with more than £700,000 in cash.
The robbers made their get-away from the Grand Hyatt Berlin by fleeing through an adjoining shopping centre. ·
