A boutique hotel with its own ‘urban oasis’ and the city’s best DJs playing in the bar
Home Hotel "does what it says on the label", says Lucy Gillmore in the Independent. Granted, it is a boutique hotel so hip that "the city's top DJs play in the bar on a Friday night" – but it also "feels like home", largely thanks to the staff, who "couldn't be friendlier". The interior design is "light and contemporary" with "lots of glass and wood", the furnishings are eclectic "with a retro slant", and there are "custom-made beds of native watambu wood" in each of the 18 rooms. Hidden behind it all is the garden, an "urban oasis" with towering trees, masses of flowers and a floodlit infinity pool.
