Julian Assange dancing in a nightclub
WikiLeaks editor pulls some moves on the dancefloor in a more carefree time (with video)
Footage of WikiLeaks editor-in-chief apparently dancing in a virtually empty nightclub in Iceland has emerged after the DJ decided to send the video he had taken to Forbes.
Apparently, DJ Seth Sharp saw the photograph of Julian Assange dancing that recently went viral. He claims to have taken the photo in Reykjavik on December 5 2009 and says: "Julian was really letting go and all over the dance floor and I was really impressed at his lack of shyness. So I filmed him and took photos. His white hair was also striking since the clientele at the club was usually much younger-looking."
The story sounds plausible, and Assange was definitely in Iceland at the time, but there are only two problems: first of all, the Forbes story was published last night - a little too close to April Fools Day for comfort. Secondly, there are probably other awkward lanky guys with long white hair out there - and there is nothing in the video to indicate it was taken in Iceland. ·

The American endeavour is to denigrate Juilan Assange because he has embarassed them by reporting what their own diplomats are saying about their reckless wars. I can understand that.
