Amy Winehouse booed at gig in Dubai

Amy Winehouse faced every singer’s worst nightmare on the weekend when she was booed by the audience as she sang her hit Rehab at a Dubai festival.
 
The notoriously inconsistent performer looked bored and seemed to forget her words throughout the set at the Festival City Arena, as part of Gulf Bike Week.
 
When frustrated fans began to vent their disappointment, Winehouse turned on the crowd, asking them "Do you wanna be in the band? I said, do you wanna be in the band? That's what I thought".
 
A spokesperson for Winehouse blamed the shambolic performance on technical problems, telling the Mirror that her ear-piece wasn’t working. ·
