Nissan recalls 2.1 million cars over engine fault

Japanese car manufacturer Nissan is recalling 2.1 million cars worldwide due to problems with an engine control system.
Nine models are affected, including the Cube (above), March and Tid. Nissan claims no accidents have yet been attributed to the fault, which can cause engines to stall. The recall affects 354,170 cars in Europe, 834,759 in Japan, 762,000 in North America and 194,409 in China and Taiwan.
Nissan recalled 78,000 cars in February and 540,000 in March this year.
