MPs slam Kraft’s attitude over Cadburys report
Business digest: New report on future of chocolate company singles out American giant's boss
A new Parliamentary report has criticised American food giant Kraft for failing to work with them during an investigation into the effects of last year's takeover of Cadburys.
The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee said that chief executive Irene Rosenfeld repeatedly refused to talk to the committee. The report, 'Is Kraft working for Cadbury?', says her "regrettably dismissive attitude" brought her "close to contempt of the House".
The aim was to seek assurances about future plans for the chocolate company following the closure of Somerdale factory last year, which Kraft had originally promised would remain open.
MPs involved in the report say that they understand no more jobs will be cut.

If the British were so stupid as to permit Kraft, makers of garbage cheese, etc, to purchase Cadbury, they should stop whining, and talk to the French about Dannon Law - but with the current useless pack of politicians, nothing will happen.
No more jobs to be cut? Is this the same promise that relates to the Somerdale plant? If I was a Cadbury worker in the UK, i would be looking for a new job!
