Kent male nurse held over plot 'to rape, kill and eat' women'
Dale Bolinger arrest linked to case of Gilberto Valle, New York policeman dubbed the 'Cannibal Cop'
A MALE nurse from Kent has been arrested on suspicion of plotting to rape, kill and eat women, the Daily Telegraph reports, by detectives searching for the British "mentor" who inspired New York's so-called 'Cannibal Cop'.
Dale Bolinger was held at his home in Canterbury, together with another unnamed man, after a tip-off from US police investigating the bizarre case of Gilberto Valle (pictured above).
Valle is the 28-year-old New York City policeman charged last October with conspiracy to kidnap, and using police databases to make a list of targets, allegedly of women he planned to kill, cook and eat.
During the trial in New York, the court was told that Valle had a British contact who called himself MeatMarketMan and Moody Blues. The British contact, who Valle met on an extreme sexual fetish website, allegedly urged the US cop to eat his victims alive, saying: "I think of it as eating her to death".
Bolinger, 57, and the 30-year-old unnamed man, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy offences, grooming and possessing images of child abuse. Both men are on police bail and Bolinger has been suspended by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
The Telegraph reports that in online conversations conducted throughout last summer, MoodyBlues told Valle that female flesh "isn't quite like pork, but very meaty … I've eaten a black woman and a white person." He also claimed to have a recipe for "haggis" made from human lungs and stomach.
In another conversation about kidnapping women and avoiding detection, MoodyBlues mentioned the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe. He said the "main reason" Sutcliffe was caught was because he stuck to the same type of victim. "Don't follow the same pattern. Patterns is what they look for," MoodyBlues wrote.
Valle, who allegedly said he was "dying to taste some girl meat" and talked about killing his wife and other female acquaintances, did not kidnap or injure any women. He claims that he indulged in extreme internet fantasies and had no intention of putting his words into action. His trial continues. ·
