Two storeys high and 53ft long - a vehicle fit for the new Charlie Sheen?

If President Obama's heavily-armoured 'Megabeast' reflects the seriousness of its passenger, what does the 53ft long two storeys high luxury trailer named 'Baby Girl' tell us about the man who's rented it, actor Ashton Kutcher?

The new star of Two and a Half Men is reportedly paying $8,750 a week for the 30 tonne vehicle, described as a 'mobile estate'. For that, Kutcher gets a whopping 1,100 sq ft of floor space, packed with six 60-inch 3D plasma screens, two bathrooms, a granite-topped kitchen and conference room.

The trailer will provide a luxurious setting for Kutcher in between shoots for the hit US sitcom where he is to replace Charlie Sheen, who left after a dramatic public spat with the show's makers. While Kutcher will not be on the eye-watering $2m per show that Sheen earned, he is reported to be getting a total of $20 million for 26 episodes.

The 'Baby Girl' trailer is not just about comfort, however - it also has state-of-the-art security. Cameras mounted on the trailer provide 360-degree video surveillance, while other features such as thumb scanners have been known to be installed in the vehicles, designed by Ron Anderson of Anderson Mobile Estates.

The lavish lifestyle choice has drawn snarky reactions from Twitter users, among whom Kutcher is more famous for his love affair with Demi Moore than his acting prowess, and this headline from US website Gawker: 'Ashton Kutcher's Trailer Overcompensates For Tiny Talent'. ·

No one can replace Charlie Sheen....It was his show.
Good luck to Mr Demi Moore, oh sorry, Mr Kutcher...It isn't a big trailer that will make us laugh like Charlie used to...
