Just married, Lily Allen reveals she is pregnant
Singer marries builder Sam Cooper without a pre-nup in Cotswolds church
Lily Allen has married her boyfriend Sam Cooper and revealed to friends she is pregnant. The singer walked down the aisle with the slightest of baby bumps.
The news will delight Allen's fans as well as her friends – earlier this year she spoke movingly of her heartache at losing a baby at six months in 2010, saying a miscarriage "changes a person".
Putting that painful experience behind her, Allen was married yesterday at St James the Great church in the idyllic Cotswolds village of Cranham. She was given away by her father, the actor Keith Allen, and guests included Angus Deayton and Harry Enfield.
TV presenter Miquita Oliver was one of Allen's bridesmaids, wearing peach while Allen herself wore a white dress that drew comparison's with Kate Middleton's outfit at this year's royal wedding.
It was Allen's new husband, 33-year-old builder Sam Cooper, who broke the news that she was expecting to guests at the reception afterwards.
Despite Allen's estimated £6m fortune, she and Cooper have not signed a pre-nup. The Mail on Sunday reports a "friend" of Allen's as saying she would not have considered anything so unromantic. ·
