Harlem Shake on plane may have broken law - video
Clip of Colorado college students dancing in the main cabin of airliner triggers safety investigation
THE seatbelt sign was definitely off, but US authorities still want to know if any laws were broken when Colorado college students performed the Harlem Shake on an airliner.
The international dance craze, inspired by an electro track by US artist Baauer, has spawned thousands of video tributes. But the clip of dancing students filling the main cabin of a Frontier Airlines flight from Colorado Springs to San Diego is more controversial than most.
The Daily Telegraph says aviation authorities are "looking into what stage the flight was in when the dance took place in the aisles".
The dancers appear to have prepared themselves for the performance, with one wearing a banana costume and others dressed in neon clothing.
