Manchester United have sparked rumours that they are in financial crisis after they pulled out of a deal to bring Serbian midfielder Adem Ljajic to Old Trafford, the Daily Star reports. United had the option to buy the 18-year-old, who is known as 'Little Kaka' in his homeland, as part of the £17m double deal agreed in principle with Partizan Belgrade that also saw left- winger Zoran Tosic join the English champions.
