With the Arsenal attack in disarray after Robin van Persie was confirmed at the weekend as being out injured for the next five months, Arsene Wenger will be forced into the transfer markets in January, and one player he is reported to be tracking is Seville's Diego Perotti. The 21-year-old Argentinean winger has already been scouted by the Londoners, the Daily Mirror claims, and Perotti has a £20m buy-out clause in his contract. The youngster is happy to stay at Seville, saying: “This team has given me everything. My future is in the hands of the club. I feel very comfortable here and I want to succeed.” However financial realities could force the club to sell their prize asset...

Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has let it be known that he is ready to quit the European champions after spending half the season to date on the Camp Nou bench. The Sun says that the Ivory Coast international is interesting Chelsea and Manchester City, where his brother Kolo plays. The 26-year-old Yaya said: "My situation is astonishing. I have to take a personal decision about all this. When a new contract is given to a player, particularly at a club like this, it makes no sense to then leave him on the bench all the time. I think that at my age a player is at his peak in physical and ability terms, but I do not have the chance to play at the moment. This situation is damaging. I am not a thirtysomething, I am still young. I need more minutes because I am not playing enough"...

Then we will see what they do. If in June the club still needs money, there are ways to help. This is my home, but if the club have to sell me, I must go. I know nothing. Now I need to concentrate on getting us into Europe." Aguero scored both goals in Atletico's 2-2 Champions League draw with Chelsea, after which Ancelotti sang the youngster's praises...

There aren't that many unhappy people at free-scoring Tottenham, but Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is one of them and could have finally found a way out of White Hart Lane, according to the Daily Telegraph. The Russian international's agent Oliver Wendt told an Italian website: "We're meeting Roma for Roman. He wants to leave London and go to Roma. If Tottenham allow him to go, Roman could be a Roma player. Everything depends on the meeting we will have today or tomorrow with Roma. I had contact with the Roma directors last week too and they showed they were interested." Pavlyuchenko was signed by former Spurs boss Juande Ramos, and has been frozen out under Harry Redknapp... ·
