The Scottish rocker can't contain his emotions after famous victory at Parkhead

CELTIC'S incredible win over the kings of world football, Barcelona, was too much for some of the fans at Parkhead last night. And among those who found it hard to take in was lifelong Bhoys fans Rod Stewart who was caught on camera weeping after the final whistle.

The rocker could be seen wiping away tears with a handkerchief after his side held on to their lead to beat Barcelona 2-1. He was then seen being hugged by a friend sitting next to him. The result not only stunned Europe but put Celtic within touching distance of a place in the Champions League knock-out stages.

Stewart is possibly Celtic's most celebrated supporter and a well-known football nut. He gives the Glasgow club a namecheck in his song You're In My Heart and kicks footballs into the crowd at his concerts. He even has a full-sized football pitch in the garden of his mansion in Epping, and the Scottish club once trained there before a friendly match in 2005.
