John Terry mocked for his Champions League tears
Unfortunate Chelsea captain finds himself the butt of internet jokers once again as Chelsea crash out
JOHN TERRY is once again the butt of internet jokes after he was reduced to tears by Chelsea's Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
Terry, who has an unfortunate track record in European competition, broke down and cried as his hopes of leading Chelsea to the final in Lisbon were ended at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
The Blues captain had to be consoled by Atletico players after the final whistle, but there was less sympathy on social networking sites where he was roundly mocked for his reaction.
Facebook user Owen Parker described footage of Terry's tears as "visual prozac" while others took to Twitter to mock him.
Chelsea to rename the South side of Stamford Bridge 'The Shed Tears End' in honour of John Terry.

It is hard not to smile when you see John Terry crying at another loss. Does this make me a bad person?

Back in 2008 Terry was inconsolable when he slipped and missed a penalty in the final shoot-out with Manchester United, and his miskick cost Chelsea the trophy.
Four years later in 2012, when Chelsea finally won the Champions League, Terry missed the final through suspension but was ridiculed for changing into full kit, including boots, to gatecrash the team’s celebrations. He repeated the trick in similar circumstances when the Blues won the Europa League without him in 2013.
Some on the internet could not resist harking back to those celebrations.

It'd be some achievement for John Terry to end up lifting a European trophy this season, wouldn't put it past him though.

Jose Mourinho did not escape either. Arsenal fans, still smarting from his description of Arsene Wenger as a "specialist in failure" were quick to respond as Chelsea face up to a season without silverware.

While his tactics of "parking the bus", which failed to secure Chelsea's passage to the final, were also questioned.
