Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly informed seven of his squad that they are surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. According to the Daily Star the Dutchman has taken a "long hard look” at his resources and concluded that several of the players he inherited from David Moyes just don't cut the Manchester United mustard.
