Lady Gaga sneak peek: Who's new track 'Swine' about?
'You're just a pig inside' sings Gaga in new online footage of her rehearsal for London gig
LADY GAGA has released a sneak preview of her new song Swine on YouTube – sparking debate over whom she might be singing about.
The one-minute clip, which has already been watched by hundreds of thousands of viewers, shows Gaga rehearsing for her iTunes Festival gig on Sunday at the Roundhouse in Camden Town, north London.
The 27-year-old singer can be seen playing the drums while practising the song, which is thought to feature on her new ARTPOP album. She is heard singing, "I know you want me. You're just a pig in a human's body. Squealer, squealer, squeal out! You're so disgusting. You're just a pig inside. Swine!"
The lyrics have prompted many fans to wonder if she is singing about her former friend Perez Hilton. The pair have fallen out in a spat that went public earlier this month, with Gaga accusing Hilton of "stalking her". Hilton vehemently denied the claims, saying it was a coincidence that he was looking for a house near her home.
Other fans are convinced the lyrics are about Gaga "overcoming her own dark past".
Sunday's gig will be her first since February, when she was forced to cancel a number of tour dates while she underwent surgery for a hip injury. She has dubbed the gig 'Swine Fest'on her Twitter page.
The pop star, who famously wore a raw meat dress at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, has been issuing fans with a dress code for the night – which includes seashells, starfish and a bedazzled pig nose.
The Bad Romance singer has also revealed that she will be joined by a special guest on Sunday. Fans are predicting it will be Elton John, despite initial speculation that it might be Beyonce for a sequel to their duet Telephone. ·
