Kanye West goes crazy over Jimmy Kimmel spoof - video
US comedian 'laughes off' rapper's Twitter tirade ignited by video mocking bizarre Radio 1 interview
KANYE WEST takes himself very, very seriously. So when US comedian Jimmy Kimmel made a video poking fun at a bizarre interview the rapper gave to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe this week, West was far from amused.
The trouble started when West sat down with Lowe to discuss his new album, Yeezus. The chat proved that a) West has a massive ego - "I want to be the anchor of the first trillion dollar company" - and b) he has an odd way with language - "I've reached a point in my life where my Truman Show boat has hit the painting."
West also revealed that he had pitched the idea of "leather jogging pants" to Italian design firm Fendi six years ago, but for some inexplicable reason it had been rejected.
Kimmel picked some of West's more outlandish lines and recreated the interview using two children posing as West and Lowe. The segment aired on the comedian's ABC show on Tuesday night.
West was unimpressed and took to Twitter to express his fury. Unleashing a string of profanity-laden, capitalised tweets, he attacked Kimmel's face ("crazy"), his sex life (unprintable), his sexuality (ditto) and claimed his ex-girlfriend and rival comic Sarah Silverman, "is a thousand times funnier... and the whole world knows it!!!"
YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???

Kimmel has "laughed off" the Twitter tirade, says Variety. After reading out some of West's tweets on his show last night he said: "Finally, I am in a rap feud." ·
