Lady Gaga tour dates: where will she perform in the UK?
Nudity, flying clothing and endless wigs predicted for international 'artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball' tour
LADY GAGA has announced four UK dates as part of her 2014 international tour - 'artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball'.
The 27-year-old singer will be performing across Canada and the United States in May, June and July, starting with seven sold-out shows at the Roseland Ballroom in New York.
The European leg of the tour then kicks off in September in Antwerp and will be followed by concerts in Germany, France and Spain, among other countries.
The UK dates, which were announced today, are as follows:
- NIA Arena, Birmingham – 15 October
- SSE Hydro, Glasgow – 19 October
- Phones 4u Arena, Manchester – 21 October
- O2 Arena, London – 23 October
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale on 8 February at 9am and look likely to be priced between £35 and £90. Lady Gaga will also be performing at the O2 Arena in Dublin on 17 October, with tickets released on 14 February.
Gigwise predicts that the tour will be filled with endless wigs, flying clothing and nudity.
"Gaga's hardly known for being shy and retiring, and it's fair to say ARTPOP is her most bonkers album yet - so the live shows in support of the record will be quite something," says the music website. "Even popping out to the shops turns into some kind of performance art for Gaga, so we can expect artRAVE to be spectacularly mad."
ARTPOP - Lady Gaga's fourth studio album and the follow up to 2011's Born This Way – went to number one in the Official Album Chart last November.
Last February the singer had to cancel the remaining dates on her Born This Way world tour after she started experiencing pain in her hip. She later said surgery revealed "a broken hip" and "giant craters".
