Crown prince denied entry to Australian pub

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was reportedly denied entry to an Australian pub as he was not carrying correct identification. Many Australian pubs have introduced strict entry requirements in a bid to curb alcohol-related violence. The prince was eventually allowed in following intervention by diplomatic protection officers.

Indian woman allowed divorce over toilet

A woman in India has been granted permission to divorce her husband after the man refused to install a toilet in their home. The woman, who is in her 20s, had been married to the man for five years, during which time she had to relieve herself in nearby fields.

Car thief caught after stopping to watch eclipse

A suspected car thief has been arrested after he stopped by the side of the road to watch a solar eclipse in the US yesterday. Orange County deputy sheriffs had been following Jocsan Rosado, 22, when he stopped to buy a welder's mask in order to view the eclipse. Deputies arrested him while he was distracted by the astronomical event.
