After another box office flop with The Switch, former Friends star ‘agrees to go topless’
When her latest film The Switch was proclaimed a flop earlier this week, Entertainment Weekly posed the question: "Jennifer Aniston: Where should she go from here?" They now have their answer - she's agreed to go topless for the first time in her career. (That's the first time on screen - magazine shoots are a different matter.)
Aniston, according to reports from Hollywood, is to play the part of a "free loving" married woman who tires of life in New York and goes to live in a hippie community.
The film, called Wanderlust, will be produced by Judd Apatow, the man who brought us the Seth Rogen-Katherine Heigl hit Knocked Up and the Russell Brand movie Get Him to the Greek.
According to Hollywoodlife.com, the script not only calls for 41-year-old Aniston's character to rip off her top, but will include several sex scenes with her fellow members of the commune - both men and women - and drug-taking.
It's all a far cry from Friends and such saccharine comedies as Marley & Me, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to keep that screen career alive. ·

Um, I hate to ruin Aniston and her PR flacks hackneyed tired strategy to drum up interest with pesky facts, but she had a topless and bottomless scene in the breakup (google it and see her in all her glory - nothing to brag about), she skinny dipped in that dog movie, she was bare asss'd on magazines 15 years ago, and has since done many other topless shoots, including a spread recently to promote that X-mas dog movie where she was in only a tie...at this point, if she's not dropping trou, it's a complete and utter shock. She's as predictable as the sun, and boring as helll - not to mention a big hypocrite, didn't she spend most of the 90s threatening to sue papz who quite easily were able to catch her 'topless' - this old broad has used her unimpressive aging rack to get press for the last two decades. The only thing remotely interesting is how often media outlets are gullable enough to swallow this PR tactic from Aniston and her flacks.
since she can't act she may as well take her clothes off - however that isn't going to make her a good actress
In Hollywood, going topless when you've always refused to before = sure sign of desperation.
