Michelle McGee tells Bullock she’s ‘sorry’

Jesse James’ lover ‘Bombshell’ McGee goes on Australian TV to make bizarre apology

Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee has apologised to Sandra Bullock for her affair with the actress's husband Jesse James. Bizarrely, McGee chose to go half way round the world and say "sorry for everything" on Australian television, rather than give an interview to a US network.

Speaking to the Australian current affairs show Today Tonight, McGee, the tattooed San Diego fetish model whose affair with James came to light just days after Bullock won her best actress Oscar last month, said she "felt bad for Sandra". Somewhat hypocritically, she added: "I know what she's going through, she must be hurt, devastated, upset, embarrassed".

McGee had also been "duped" by James, she insisted. She still maintains that he assured her that he'd split up with Bullock before they started their 11-month affair. "I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was," McGee claimed. "If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn’t be in this situation."

Meanwhile an alleged fifth woman has reportedly stepped forward to claim she had an affair with James. Like McGee and James's three other known mistresses, Merilee Gerth is an ex-topless dancer covered in tattoos. Radaronline.com claims to have obtained emails between James and Gerth which chronicle how their affair ended in a sexual harassment case.

Gerth had been working at James’s motorrbike shop, West Coast Choppers, until 2007. He fired her when she ended their relationship and she then sued James for sexual harassment.  According to Radaronline.com, they settled out of court for a six-figure sum. ·
