Sarah Brown falls for our spoof border collie

When The First Post published an April Fool picture story showing Gordon Brown with a new puppy, we had no idea the PM's wife might be captivated by the pictures (above).

But Sarah Brown not only enjoyed the Photoshopped pictures of her husband crouching down to play with his apparently new border collie, Avril, she has posted a comment on Twitter after being sent the spoof story by readers of The First Post.

"Saw the April Fool for our new puppy?" she tweeted. "The thing is that the puppy looks so cute it does make you want one." ·
