Jesse James checks into sexual addiction rehab
Stopped by cops, Sandra Bullock’s husband explains he’s heading for therapy
The best place to invest your money in America these days is shares in the sexual addiction therapy racket. After Tiger Woods gave his high-profile blessing to the treatment, it seems America's second most famous philanderer, Jesse James, is going down the same route.
James, the husband of Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock, has reportedly checked into a rehab facility in Tucson, Arizona in an effort to deal with his apparent addiction to heavily tattooed mistresses.
The first, a fetish model called Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, came to light within days of his wife being handed the best actress Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side. Over the past few weeks, at least three more 'other women' have come out of the woodwork.
Bullock has been so distressed that Warner Bros have had to cancel various appearances, including the London premiere of The Blind Side, and the actress is said to be auditioning divorce lawyers.
Now James has decided to get the Tiger cure. We know this because police sources have told the US gossip site TMZ that when an officer stopped James on a California freeway for driving his Mercedes without a front license plate, he told the cop he was en route to the Sierra Tucson facility in a bid to save his marriage.
Overnight, TMZ has since telephoned Sierra Tucson where a member of the medical staff helpfully informed them that, yes, Jesse James was there, and indeed was attending his first session at 6.0 pm on Tuesday.
This won't be the last we hear of Jesse's trip to Tucson - not least because the rehab facility appears to have broken confidentiality rights enshrined in state and federal laws.
Sierra Tucson claims on its website: "We go to great lengths to protect the anonymity of everyone who enters Sierra Tucson." But not on this occasion.
