Secretary tells of hotel sex with ‘short’ Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole, already facing allegations of 'text sex' with two women, has been accused of more serious infidelity today by a secretary who says the Chelsea footballer twice met her in hotel rooms before away matches for sexual liaisons.

Last week, the Sun claimed that Cole had engaged in text flirting with model Sonia Wild. Yesterday the same paper reported he had sent pictures of himself in a state of arousal to a blonde secretary. But today, it was claimed that Cole's relationship with the same woman went much further.

The secretary told the Sun how, after meeting Cole via a social networking site, and after weeks of text flirting, she finally met him on October 29 2008 before Chelsea's Premier League game against Hull'

The 30-year-old secretary, who refused to give her name for fear of losing her job, said she drove for three hours before meeting Cole in Room 15 of the Forest Pines Hotel in North Lincolnshire. The woman is not exactly flattering about Cole.

"The first thing I noticed was how small he was, several inches shorter than me and almost petite," she says. After watching two sci-fi films, they had sex: "It wasn't raunchy stuff, more like relationship sex. The whole thing was surreal. I thought this toned athlete with a reputation as a ladies' man would be throwing me all over the bed. But it was quite the opposite."

The two met again two weeks later, the night before Chelsea's game against West Bromwich Albion. On this occasion, Cole turned the TV volume up before they had sex so that John Terry, who had the room next door, would not hear them.

The timing of the new allegations is unfortunate: Ashley's wife, Cheryl Cole, is due to sing at the Brit Awards tonight. She reportedly would not talk to anyone at rehearsals and kept herself locked away in her dressing room, refusing food.

Cheryl is said to be staying in a five-star central London hotel, while Ashley remains in the couple's Surrey mansion.

Meanwhile, an interview that Cheryl gave three weeks ago has appeared in Hello! magazine. She speaks of her husband in glowing terms, saying she loves it "when he runs a hot bath for me" and talks of her hopes that they will soon have children. She adds: "I love it when he surprises me." ·
