Tiger Woods and wife Elin: is all forgiven?

Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods

If Elin is really bringing Tiger home, she needs to mind those ‘mistress’ golf balls

As Tiger Woods nears the end of his sex addiction therapy course at a clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, there are reports from the US that his wife, Elin Nordegren, has flown there to bring him home to Florida. According to Radar Online, she has been won over by the effort he is making to deal with his addiction and is prepared to give him a second chance.

The gossip site also reports that she has "dumped" the divorce lawyer she had hired to negotiate a $300m settlement following the revelations of his many mistresses. "Elin has decided to try to make the marriage work," an apparently well-placed source told Radar.

As The First Post reported last month, Nordegeren recently visited Woods at the Gentle Path clinic because the therapy demands that the husband confesses his affairs to his wife's face. Following that visit, friends reported that she was impressed by his progress. "She was smiling for the first time in a long time."

What won't make either of them smile on their return to Florida is the news that a company called Creative Classics has launched 'The Mistress Collection' - a set of golf balls, each decorated with a caricature of one of Tiger's girlfriends.

One of the women, former porn star Joslyn James, has hired the women's rights lawyer Gloria Alldred - the same attorney taken on by Rachel Uchitel, when she was still denying her affair with Tiger - in a bid to get the collection taken off the shelves.

James told a press conference yesterday: "As a victim of violence myself, it bothered me to think that someone would be standing with a dangerous club in their hands and hitting a ball with my face on it." ·
