Raunchy Rihanna goes topless in Italian Vogue

A racy photoshoot in Italian Vogue, featuring pop singer Rihanna posing topless, has been published just as her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's hotly anticipated interview with US talkshow host Larry King is screened today.
 
The pictures show Rihanna clad in leather, lace, sequins and rubber in a series of poses reminiscent of Grace Jones at her most vampish. The images, including one in which she is topless, were shot by photographer Steven Klein for a special couture feature.
 
Rihanna's raunchy look contrasts with that of Brown, who chose a rather more staid ensemble, comprising a lavender coloured v-neck sweater and bowtie, for his interview with King in which he talks about the attack on his former girlfriend for the first time.
 
Brown, who was convicted of assaulting Rihanna earlier this year, has already tried to distance himself from a clip of the interview that was leaked ahead of today's edition of the Larry King Live show. In it Brown claims he cannot recall the attack, but he has since said that the clip was "not representative of what I said". Brown claims he was asked "something like four or five times" about the altercation with Rihanna during the interview.
 
"Of course I remember what happened," said Brown in a statement before the show went out. "Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur."
 
Brown – who claims he still has feelings for his ex - was accused of assaulting Rihanna after a party in February and in June he admitted the charges against him. Last month he was sentenced to five years on probation, a year of domestic violence counselling and six months of community labour in Virginia.
 
While Brown tries to make amends for his actions, Rihanna appears to be returning to life in the public eye with a tough new look. In addition to the raunchy photoshoot she appears in Jay-Z's new video Run This Town sporting a ninja mask, stockings and a bullet belt and is said to be recording material for a new album. ·
