Dasha Zhukova said to be pregnant by Abramovich

Daria Zhukova, the Russian fashion designer, gallerist and style magazine editor, is reported to be expecting a baby with her oligarch boyfriend Roman Abramovich. The 28-year-old is said to be six months pregnant with the couple's first baby, although it will be the Chelsea Football Club owner's sixth child.

A friend of the couple told the Daily Mirror that Roman and Daria - or Dasha as she is also known - are "'ecstatic and excited" at the prospect of becoming parents. The source said Zhukova discovered she was pregnant following a holiday in the Caribbean.

"Dasha is so petite it's impossible to notice she has a baby bump, even though she is six months gone." The baby would be brought in up in Moscow, the friend added, and raised a Chelsea fan.

Abramovich, 42, already has three daughters and two sons with his ex-wife Irina, who he split from in late 2006.

Zhukova, who heads up her own fashion label Kova & T and also owns the Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture in Moscow, was earlier this year made editor-in-chief of the influential fashion and art magazine Pop, replacing its founding editor Katie Grand. Her first issue comes out on September 1. ·
