Mario Balotelli 'to marry' supermodel Raffaella Fico
Red top tales: Man City player's 'nuptials', Made in Chelsea star's 'drug shame', Borat's redemption
MADCAP Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is getting hitched to his supermodel girlfriend Raffaella Fico, if The Daily Star is to be believed. The paper claims that the couple are planning to get married just weeks after Balotelli made headlines for romping with a prostitute previously patronised by Wayne Rooney and a dwarf Harry Potter actor. "We are planning our marriage, which will happen soon," 24-year-old Fico, an ex-girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo, told the paper. "The date? If you don't mind, I prefer not to reveal that."
DRUG PHOTO COULD SINK MADE IN CHELSEA STAR
The Sun reports that Made in Chelsea's Spencer Matthews is facing the axe after allegedly being photographed snorting coke in front of fans at an after-party bash in Bath. According to an unnamed source, Matthews "produced a bag of cocaine, grabbed a DVD case and did a line" like it was "the most natural thing in the world". The 23-year-old's new contract is now on the rocks after, as paper put it, getting "caned in Chelsea". But the snaps are unlikely to reach the press, having already been bought with cash from his family, who own a Caribbean hotel.
COMEDIAN FLOPS, STRIPS, THEN CRIES ON STAGE
Award-winning comedian Phil Kay had an on-stage meltdown after two tough gigs, according to The Scottish Sun. The bearded stand-up took his clothes off, told the audience to "f*** off", and started to weep under the spotlights. Organiser Steph Renshaw said Kay was "crying on the stage, holding onto my leg and begging me to pay him". The comic also kicked some of the audience out of the club and was roundly booed. According to Renshaw, the comic's set was a "disaster".
PETER ANDRE'S CAFE BLASTED BY HEALTH INSPECTORS
Jordan's ex-husband Peter Andre has received a severe dressing down from health inspectors after his cafe got just one star out of five in an inspection. The check-up earlier this month found that floors were dirty, bins were overflowing and chicken was being thawed at room temperature, potentially encouraging germs. They called for "urgent improvements" to Andre's American-themed joint in East Grinstead, West Sussex, according to The Daily Mirror. Andre admitted he got "a couple of things wrong", but said it had now been sorted.
KAZAKHSTAN POLITICIAN: 'I SALUTE YOU BORAT'
When the film of Sacha Baron Cohen's Kazakhstani comic creation Borat was released in 2006, it was banned by the ex-Soviet country for portraying it as backward. But now, according to the Daily Mail, Kazakhstan's foreign minister has praised the character for his impact on tourism. "I salute 'Borat' for helping attract tourists to Kazakhstan," Yerzhan Kazykhanov told parliament recently. "With the release of this film, the number of visas issued by Kazakhstan grew tenfold."
