PUDSEY, the dog that won Britain's Got Talent, has been outed as gay by the Daily Star. Under the heading, 'My secret gay lover', the paper reveals the prancing pooch dumped his girlfriend Crumble, mother of his six puppies, in favour of a cocker spaniel called Sam. "Whenever Pudsey sees Sam, he is in love," explains owner Ashleigh Butler, who netted £500,000 after her dog's triumph in BGT on Saturday night. "He has a thing for him… Pudsey is a complete flirt."

Michelle Obama's alleged jealousy over Oprah Winfrey's influence with the President has created a rift between the pair, according to a new book serialised by the New York Post. The Amateur, written by ex-editor of The New York Times Magazine Edward Klein, alleges that Barack Obama was "in awe" of the talk-show host, "sometimes giving her advice priority over Michelle's". One White House insider said Michelle had been "furious" that her husband made late-night calls to Oprah, adding that the first lady thought the TV star was just trying to "cash in" on her connections.
FUNERAL CANCELLED AS 'DEAD' EGYPTIAN WAKES UP
An Egyptian 28-year-old has shocked his family after being found to be alive just moments before his funeral, reports the Metro. Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi, who had been pronounced dead by a local hospital after suffering a heart attack, had been washed and prepared for burial by his family. But when a doctor visited the house in the province of Luxor to sign the death certificate, he found the body was still warm. Hamdi's mother fainted at the news, but eventually both mum and son were woken, prompting celebrations with the funeral guests.

A pair of the Queen's pants has been put up for auction on eBay. The price? A princely opening bid of $3,999, says TMZ. The ivory delicates, which are embroidered with the initial 'E', currently belong to the estate of Miami playboy Joseph de Bicske Dobronyi - nicknamed 'The Baron' - who came by the briefs from a friend after Elizabeth left them on a flight to Chile in 1968. It was Joseph's dying wish to flog the pants at Hansons, but after the British auction house failed to find a bidder, Joseph's estate has plumped for an eBay sale instead.

"Paedophile pop star" Gary Glitter is set to rake in thousands of pounds in royalties after he was shown singing on a Top of The Pops repeat, an outraged Sun splutters. Glitter appeared in a BBC2 repeat of Top of the Pops from 1977 at the weekend, performing his hit All Night Long, sparking outrage from viewers. Despite the furore, the BBC defended its decision to broadcast Glitter's performance saying it would have been "inappropriate to rewrite history" and edit him out of the programme.
