Red top tales: Lil Wayne thinks Drake and Chris Brown fight is bad for business and X-rated fossil found in Germany

LIL WAYNE has told Drake and Chris Brown to kiss and make up following last week's bar brawl in New York because "making money is what matters most", TMZ reports. The pint-sized rapper has apparently taken the side of Drake, who is signed to his music label Young Money, in the dispute, which was reportedly over Rihanna. However, "the bottom line is the bottom line" notes TMZ, and Lil Wayne feels an ongoing feud would be bad for business.  A 'source' said: "Brown appears on several tracks with Young Money members and, pure and simple, Brown = hits."

An X-rated fossil of two turtles "caught in the act" has been found in Darmstadt, Germany, according to the Daily Mirror. Scientists believe the reptiles died while having sex 47 million years ago, after they were "overwhelmed by toxic waters" from a nearby lake. The amorous pair were discovered in Messel Pit, a quarry known for its wealth of fossils.
It is believed that the turtles sank and were buried beneath the oxygen-starved lakebed where they remained, preserved in coitus.

Newly-divorced pop star Katy Perry has told The Hollywood Reporter that she found her marriage to Russell Brand "so overwhelming" that she would use a special crying technique to avoid ruining her make-up. "I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes," she said, adding that she would start to cry before a performance of Teenage Dream, a song about falling in love. Perry also defended Kim Kardashian's short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries, saying: "Nobody knows what really happened except the two people who are in it."

One Direction have revealed that the mothers of their stateside fans are "fearless" when it comes to chatting them up, The Sun reports. "They will grab and pinch and it gets quite tricky," said member Liam Payne, while Zayn Malik added cryptically: "They suggest things." Harry Styles, 17, who ended his romance with 32-year-old Caroline Flack in March, said he did not mind what age his girlfriend was, provided that she was "nice and made me smile".

A bride who stole up to £200,000 from her employers to lavish on her wedding has been jailed, according to the Daily Express. Kirsty Lane, 30, bought jewel encrusted iPods for the ceremony, along with matching UGG boots for all her bridesmaids. Lane's employers attended the ceremony and even bought her a gift, unaware that the bride had funded the wedding at their expense. Lane was arrested before she could leave for her honeymoon. She was sentenced to 20 months in prison. Her defence team said she had stolen the money so she could appear a more "attractive proposition" to her husband.
