Tulisa's lawyer will read out a statement in court on Thursday detailing the settlement of her claim against Edwards.

HARRY STYLES GETS TIPS FROM DATING BOOK
The secret behind Harry Styles's success with the older ladies is all down to a self-help dating book, according to the Daily Mail. The 18-year-old heart-throb has apparently been taking tips from a book called The Game, written by Neil Strauss, and it was apparently X Factor presenter Olly Murs who recommended it. "When Olly told him about the book, he was gripped straight away and read it in a week," a source told the Mail. The book has apparently been successful for Styles, who has been linked to two 32-year-old women in the past year as well as Made in Chelsea star Caggie Dunlop.

RICKY GERVAIS PAINTING FAILS TO SELL
Ricky Gervais donated one of his own paintings in a bid to raise thousands at a charity auction – but it failed sell. He offered the picture of an apocalyptic-looking New York skyline to raise money for Maggie's Caring Cancer Centres, who hoped the painting would generate a four-figure sum. Ahead of the auction he said: "My secret passion, secret until now, is that I like to paint." However, there was little appreciation for his passion, according to The Sun. The painting, with a reserve price of £1,000, failed to attract a single bidder.

SCIENTISTS POKE HOLES IN BATMAN'S CAPE
Scientists have ruled that Batman's wingspan is too short to make a safe landing, reports the Daily Mirror. Four students from the University of Leicester calculated that the superhero's method of using his cape to glide from tall buildings would result in him hitting the ground at life-threatening speeds. Researchers say that Batman, played by Christian Bale in the latest series of movies, would be able to fly, but he wouldn't survive the landing. The students recommend that Batman uses a parachute next time he is out fighting crime.

Lights in the arena went out and mics went dead as the storm caused a power outage at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in North Carolina. Spears and her co-judge Demi Lovato were found hiding in their dressing rooms while auditions were put on hold. TMZ gave a succinct explanation for the storm in its headline: "God Has Enough, Shuts Down Auditions". ·
