AFTER missing out on an Olympic medal and suffering abuse from Twitter trolls, who better to cheer up Tom Daley than Cheryl Cole? The singer tweeted him yesterday asking for a cheeky diving lesson. "I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?" she wrote. Daley, who is apparently receiving 50,000 tweets a day from fans, was quick to reply: "Of course!!! But first you need to follow me ;)" The three exclamation marks and winking smiley face must have worked their charms as Cole promptly started following him on the social network and tweeted "deal". Could this be the start of something beautiful, asks the Daily Mirror.

Pippa Middleton has been told to hide her face by the “bitchy fashion queen” Karl Lagerfeld, reports the Metro. The Chanel boss, who once called Adele "fat", praised the Duchess of Cambridge's looks but unleashed his claws on her sister Pippa, famous for her bottom. "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy [Prince William]. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties," he said. But added: "I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."

The rapper known as Snoop Dogg has changed his named to Snoop Lion amid claims that he is Bob Marley reincarnated. The 40-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr, claims he was "born again" during a visit to Jamaica earlier this year and is ready to make music that his "kids and grandparents can listen to". Snoop, whose songs have included Bitch Please and Let's Get Blown didn't explain why he was switching from Dogg to Lion, but the Daily Mail says it's likely a reference to the Lion of Judah, a religious symbol popular in Rastafarian culture.

Lindsay Lohan reportedly made the male crew on her new movie strip down to their boxers before she consented to shooting a sex scene. The actress initially refused to go topless while filming The Canyons with porn actor James Deen, whose films include Cheerleaders Like It Big and My First Orgy 2, until ten of the filmmakers fulfilled her request to strip off. TMZ claims the crew was "hesitant at first" but eventually obliged and it all went off without a hitch.

Commuters were surprised to see a man trying to board a train during rush hour in London with his pet sheep. The mystery traveller was stopped from riding the train in Wimbledon, south London when a guard reminded him that livestock cannot travel on public transport, reports the Metro. The pair were later photographed four miles away in New Malden where they tried to catch a bus to Kingston-upon-Thames. The man was once again booted off and heard bleating: "I'll have to walk home."
