Tabloid Tales: Ex-England manager in trouble again, Harry hits Vegas, Cher Lloyd under fire

FORMER England football manager Steve McClaren is "battling to save his marriage" according to The Sun after the paper caught the "love rat" cheating on his wife with a divorcee who once had a relationship with Sven Goran Eriksson. McClaren apparently confessed to his wife Kathryn yesterday about the two-month fling with Saima Ansari, 43, after The Sun on Sunday broke the news of the affair. "What is it about me and England managers?" Ansari told the paper. "It's a shame I never met Fabio Capello." Mrs McClaren had flown out to see her husband in Holland where he is currently manager of FC Twente. "Steve told Kathryn first thing," a source told the Sun. "He was desperate to keep this quiet. They'd just got their marriage back on an even keel after his other affair [with a married secretary when he was managing Middlesbrough]. I can't see her giving him yet another chance."

Prince Harry stripped down to his trunks and partied with Jennifer Lopez in the pool at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, surrounded by hundreds of bikini-clad beauties, according to the Daily Mirror. Harry had flown to Vegas at the weekend to attend the Wet Republic Ultra Pool party, arriving from Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson's private resort in the Virgin Islands. The prince apparently needed some R&R after the demands of having to cheer on Team GB at so many Olympic events in London. "Partying next to Prince Harry... Now on My Flight Back To London... Best Holiday yet!" was one Vegas partygoer's tweet.

Former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd walked off stage at the Chelmsford V Festival yesterday after someone in the audience threw a bottle of urine at her. The 19-year-old singer returned after "composing herself" backstage, said the Daily Mail, telling the crowd: "It's hard enough being up here, but it's not nice having bottles of piss chucked at you." It wasn't a good weekend for The X Factor – the first episode of the new series, screened on ITV1 on Saturday, drew an audience of just 9.2m, well down from last year's 12m, says the Mail. Some reports say the hot weather didn't help. Others wonder if the show has lost its way.

Andy Murray, who failed to tame Roger Federer at Wimbledon but then beat him to win the Olympic gold medal, is to marry his long-term girlfriend Kim Sears next summer, the Daily Express claims. The pair have been "an item" since 2006 and live together in a £5m home in Oxshott, Surrey, but the tennis star has dragged his feet when it comes to walking her down the aisle. The Express says he has finally relented – and they'll marry after Wimbledon 2013. It's not such a big deal - "Andy and Kim are like a husband and wife already anyway," says a family friend.
