Tabloid Tales: William talks babies with bystanders, Cole and Barlow are haunted, Lohan disappears

PRINCE WILLIAM has revealed that he’d like to have two children. During a walkabout in Singapore, he was asked by one of the crowd gathered at the Gardens by the Bay how many children he’d like to have. According to eyewitnesses, he replied that he was “thinking about having two”. According to the Daily Mirror, this is believed to be the first time William has ever spoken publicly on the subject. His wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, was not asked the same question – but she was given a children’s book called Blow a Kiss by Eileen Seow, mother of the book’s author, David Seow. Said 76-year-old Mrs Seow: “My son gave a copy to Celine Dion and she had a baby!”

The Sun has published a 16-month old photograph of Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan, 54, with his make-up artist Camilla Tew, 31, which it says “will fuel speculation” over how long their alleged affair has been going on for. The pair were snapped kissing and cuddling in Hyde Park last week and, according to The Sun, the latest (old) picture shows the two of them in 2011 outside the Berkeley Hotel in London after lunch together. Murnaghan has been married to wife Maria since 1989 and once said in an interview: “I get my happiness primarily from my wife and family.”

Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow have been taunted by menacing ghouls during filming of the Judge’s Houses stage of The X-Factor. The Metro reports that Barlow said he heard “weird creaks and groans” while staying in the 16th-century stately Boughton House, Northamptonshire, and added: “The girls felt it more than the boys, maybe they’re more in tune with the paranormal than we are.” Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack also swore she saw “an apparition in a mirror”, and claimed the ghost grabbed her bum. But Cole was ready for anything during her X Factor stint, saying she was “happy to face the ghost of Simon Cowell”.

Lindsay Lohan’s role in Scary Movie 5 is proving to be a frightening experience for the producers as the unpredictable actress has avoided all filming. Lohan is signed up for a cameo in the latest iteration of the horror spoof franchise but disappeared after discovering her scene, alongside Charlie Sheen, pokes fun at her. The troubled starlet allegedly claimed she had missed her flight to get out of filming and even said she had walking pneumonia. According to the New York Post Lohan eventually reported for work, but only after she was threatened with a lawsuit and a private jet was sent to pick her up.

Despite film bosses trying to keep the theme tune for the latest 007 film, Skyfall, as secret as possible, it appears Adele has got the gig. The chart-topping singer first hinted she may be recording the most recent Bond theme, which will be played during the film’s closing credits, on Jonathan Ross’s chatshow last year, when said she was soon due to record “a theme”. Now The Sun has revealed that earlier this month Adele visited the historic Abbey Road studio – where the soundtrack is currently being put together.
