Kristen Stewart wooed Robert Pattinson with video montage
Tabloid tales: K-Stew inspired by Google Chrome, Scots slam Pippa Middleton, Rihanna buys Adele sexy underwear
KRISTEN STEWART made Robert Pattinson a "special video montage" of their time together, to win back the Twilight star after cheating on him with Rupert Sanders. According to the Sun, the 22-year-old actress made the video because Pattinson was ignoring her "hundreds of texts, emails and answer phone messages". Echoing the Google Chrome advert, in which a man begs for his ex-girlfriend's forgiveness by emailing her a film of their good times together, Stewart used "hundreds of photos and hours of home film footage of nights out and holidays... and cut-and-pasted lines from love poems to connect it all together." The video plea clearly worked as the two have recently rekindled their romance.
SCOTS PAN PIPPA'S 'DULL' BURN'S NIGHTS TIPS
Pippa Middleton's book has been slammed by Scots for her "dull as dishwater" chapter on Burn's Night. Celebrate: a year of British festivities has already come under fire for offering advice that is "too basic", including "how to make ice cubes" and "how to win at conkers". Pippa's tips on celebrating Scotland's national bard have been described as "twee": she suggests making pom-pom thistles for the table and rounding off the evening, which usually involves drinking copious amount of whisky, with a quiet game of cards. The Daily Mail reports that she has also been criticised for describing Burn's work, renowned for his passion and use of sexual imagery, as "lovely stories".
RIHANNA GAVE ADELE SEXY UNDERWEAR
Rihanna has congratulated Adele on her new baby by sending her sexy lingerie. Adele, who gave birth to a boy earlier this month, received a large number of expensive gifts for the baby from celebrity pals, including Jessie J and Sid Owen, but pop star Rihanna decided that it was the mother who deserved a treat. According to Metro, Rihanna sent the Skyfall singer a box of saucy underwear with a note that read: "You gotta stay sexy, yummy mummy. Enjoy yourself. Congrats!!!" Not forgetting the baby, she also sent a babygro emblazoned with the slogan: "Just done nine months inside."
EXOTIC FERN NAMED AFTER LADY GAGA
Lady Gaga has had an exotic Costa Rican fern named after her. A new species was recently identified and named Gaga germanotta, after the singer's real surname. Lady Gaga will be performing in Costa Rica in November, her first concert in South America, and the fern research team say the plant naming is a way to welcome her. Kathleen Pryer, a member of the team, told the New York Daily News that the singer is being honoured because of her commitment to "equality, respect for diversity and personal freedom. We do not know her, but we want to connect botany with the world of a singer like Lady Gaga".
