Tabloid tales: One Direction fans send death threats, Kate Moss has Lucian Freud tattoo, Rihanna's £200K fines

TAYLOR SWIFT has received death threats because of rumours that she is dating One Direction's Harry Styles. After the pair were spotted holding hands at rehearsals for X Factor USA, a group calling themselves 'The Directioners' took to the internet threatening to kill the 22-year-old singer if the rumours proved true. According to the Daily Mail, Harry's over-zealous fans sent tweets saying: "I'll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry" and "If u dating my harry, I kill u." The pair are believed to have started seeing each other a few weeks ago after Swift ended her relationship with Connor Kennedy.

Kate Moss has revealed she is the owner of a piece of valuable Lucian Freud artwork - on her bum. According to The Sun, Freud, who painted a pregnant and nude Moss in 2002, originally offered to give the supermodel a tattoo of "a chicken upside down in a bucket" on her lower back, but the supermodel eventually settled on two birds. Moss said that the inking from Freud, who died last year, was probably worth "a few million". She joked: "If it all goes horribly wrong I could get a skin graft and sell it!"

A politically active donkey has been banned from running in an election because his opponents found his candidacy insulting. According to the Metro, 'Mr Donkey' was hoping to be elected to the local council in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. He recently donned a smart tie as he led 40 drum-banging supporters through the city, but in the end Mr Donkey was unable to get his name on the ballot. Speaking to a local TV station, donkey backer Daniel Molina said the group's goal was in fact to "highlight voters' attention to the seriousness of the election and not to insult any party".

Rihanna's 777 tour has already racked up thousands of pounds’ worth of fines because of the singer's terrible time-keeping. Rihanna's dedication to after-parties and an inability to get on stage on time has led to almost every one of her private jet take-offs being delayed. She has now incurred fines of £200,000 because of the extra costs to private airport teams, customs, baggage handlers and security and paying for new flight clearance on runways. According to The Sun, she has so far been more than an hour late for every show - the biggest being Stockholm, where she was two-and-a-half hours late on stage.
