Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr split up after three years
Actor and model nicknamed 'KerrBloom' separate; Leo di Caprio has 'absolutely nothing' to do with it
ORLANDO BLOOM and Miranda Kerr have split after three years of marriage, it has been confirmed.
The glamorous couple – nicknamed 'KerrBloom' by enraptured entertainment reporters – have been living apart for four months and have decided to "formalise" their separation. They have a son, Flynn, who was born in January 2011.
The split was described as "amicable" by the couple's representatives. "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," a statement said.
The relationship between the English Hollywood heartthrob and the Australian Victoria's Secret model began in 2007. At the time, the press found it hard to decide which half of the couple was prettier.
They appeared a picture of happiness as recently as 19 September when Kerr attended the Broadway opening of a production of Romeo and Juliet in which Bloom stars as Shakespeare's star-crossed lover. Kerr and Bloom canoodled for the cameras on the red carpet that night, but it now appears they had already been living separately for several months.
The Daily Mail says the cause of the split is unknown, but points out that Kerr, 30, "raised eyebrows in New York" late last year after being seen partying and with actor and notorious 'modeliser' Leonardo di Caprio.
Kerr "partied the night away" at Di Caprio's birthday on 10 November, "enjoyed a dinner with friends on the 21st" and attended a club opening on the 30th with Cameron Diaz, the paper says.
But a source close to the couple said: "Orlando and Leo are friends; Miranda and Leo are just friends. There is absolutely nothing going on with Leo. They have been very good friends for a very long time." ·
