Murderer warns mankind to stop ‘doing bad things to the atmosphere’ in rambling interview
Charles Manson has spoken out on climate change - apparently - saying there will be "no weather" if we do not stop "doing bad things to the atmosphere". The notorious murderer, whose cult The Family killed eight people - including Roman Polanski's pregnant wife Sharon Tate - in the summer of 1969, was speaking to Spanish Vanity Fair from his prison in California.
The Daily Mail picked up the interview and, under the headline "Global warming must be true, Charles Manson believes in it," poked fun at his bizarre ramblings.
"Everyone's God and if we don't wake up to that there's going to be no weather because our polar caps are melting because we're doing bad things to the atmosphere," said Manson.
"If we don't change that as rapidly as I'm speaking to you now, if we don't put the green back on the planet and put the trees back that we've butchered, if we don't go to war against the problem…" Unfortunately the 76-year-old trails off at this point.
But in case that wasn't clear, he adds: "Sooner or later the will of God will prevail over all of you. And I was condemned as the will of God. We are all martyrs. Love is a martyr. I am a martyr. But I am also a victim. And I'm a performer. And a dam. I'm both. I am everything. I am nothing."
Manson was into environmentalism well before the Sharon Tate murders. His philosophy, called ATWA (which stands for both Air, Trees, Water, Animals and All The Way Alive) can be summed up in Manson's previous observation that "Ecology is God". ·

Technically, Charles Manson is not a murderer. He never killed anyone. He is guilty of sending his automatons to do the killing.
Charles Manson is diabolically crazy, besides that, he is a coward incapable of killing, that is why he recruited lost souls to do his bidding. What those women saw in him escapes me, but they were clearly lacking in personality and instead, lived through Crazy Charlie's wishes.
How dare Charles Manson talks about God. With what he did I can't understand why anyone would even write about him. By killing Sharon Tate and her friends he lost every right to even say God's name. Charles Manson should be rotting in hell since August 1969.And It will be a relief when he finally goes there.....
