Angelina’s sticky moment

Actress Angelina Jolie found herself in a sticky situation in London's Leicester Square last night when she got one of her black Christian Louboutin stilleto heels stuck in chewing gum on the red carpet. Jolie was in London for the British premiere of fantasy film Beowulf, along with co-stars Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ray Winstone (pictured above left with daughter Lois). The actress - wearing black leather trousers and a Remembrance Day red poppy - was joined by boyfriend Brad Pitt who refused to steal the limelight, telling reporters: "I'm off duty tonight."
 
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the digitally enhanced fantasy film is based on the Anglo-Saxon myth of a mighty warrior (Winstone) who battles the demon Grendel (newcomer Crispin Glover). Jolie plays Grendel's ruthlessly seductive mother, in one scene emerging from a lake naked and dripping in liquid gold. The Los Angeles Times has described the film as "hyper violent and highly sexualised". ·
