Acting is easy for comedian Bill
Bill Clinton has taken another star turn in the latest comic video promoting his wife Hillary's bid for the White House, and the critics are impressed. This film, which follows the mock-Sopranos spot where he shares onion rings with Hillary in the diner where the Mob-based TV show came to an end, shows him munching a big, juicy cheeseburger, then sweating glumly on the treadmill. "Exercising is hard," intones the voiceover. Cut to Hillary in her fabled off-key performance of the Star Spangled Banner, and again the voiceover intones: "Singing is hard."
The video is aimed at encouraging young voters to turn out for the crucial Iowa caucus on January 3, and made its debut last night in local cinemas in the US before going on the web. It ends with voters cheerily repeating: "Caucusing is easy". Newspapers are calling for Clinton to be given his Actors' Equity card while Democrats are confident the video will go viral nationwide. ·
