Eduardo Cruz, pop star - with a little help from his big sis

Aspirant Spanish pop star Eduardo Cruz is not yet quite the megastar he hopes to become, but he has at least one thing going for him: he's Penelope Cruz's little brother. Eduardo is not shy of using his connections and, aware that sex sells, has called upon the services of Penelope and their third sibling Monica (pictured with Penelope) in what the press in Spain has called an "erotic spectacular" for his latest video.

The video for Cosas Que Contar starts with a scene where the Cruz sisters dub a lesbian porn film. Showing tremendous sisterly devotion, Penelope and Monica then dance around in a variety of bikinis, rip their stockings and suck on lollipops. Most shockingly, Penelope is later seen in a 'lesbian-style' embrace with another actress.
 
Catholic Spain is proud of its beautiful 'favourite daughter', and biggest female international star. But one of her early vehicles was a French erotic TV series where she played a blind prostitute, and there is always frantic speculation in the Spanish press about her romantic life (which included a four-year relationship with Vanilla Sky co-star Tom Cruise). Even so, she has not been seen in quite such explicit scenes since 1992's Jamon Jamon, and the video has grabbed the country's attention. Hundreds of thousands have watched Cosas Que Contar on YouTube, and it has made headlines in the Spanish dailies.
 
Will the video make Eduardo's career? It has certainly gained a lot of attention, but only time will tell. One Spanish commentator has noted that Eduardo's singing talent varies "in inverse proportion to the keenness of young heterosexuals to see the Cruz sisters". ·
