Lewis Hamilton, the Formula 1 racing driver, has complained about his life as a tax exile in Geneva, Switzerland, which he finds "boring". He says: "I miss my friends being around. Music mogul Lou Pearlman, who launched the careers of the boy bands the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, was jailed yesterday for 25 years for swindling $300m from friends, investors and major banks. A manuscript setting out the manifesto for the surrealist movement, written by Andre Breton, has been sold for £2.5m at Sotheby's.
