In brief: Obama did not have textual intercourse with that woman, Scarlett Johansson
Barack Obama has denied Scarlett Johansson's claim that they are in regular email contact. As reported in The First Post, the ripe, 23 year-old actress recently mused on their frequent online communications while talking to the current affairs website Politicos. She said: "You’d imagine that someone like the senator who is constantly travelling and constantly 'on' - how can he return these personal emails?" But Obama insists, rather ungallantly, that Johansson doesn't even have his personal email address. "She sent one email to Reggie, who forwarded it to me," said Obama, referring to his personal assistant, Reggie Love. "I write saying, 'thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,' and suddenly we have this email relationship."...Catherine Zeta-Jones, the actress, may have an airport named after her. This will be a blow to the 38-year-old supermodel: she has worked tirelessly for the former South African president's charity, 46664, named after his prison number, and she refers to him as her "honorary grandfather"…And Mandela may not have the pleasure of seeing Amy Winehouse. She, along with Elton John, was meant to be perform at the concert, however it now looks likely she will be detained at the London Clinic, near Harley Street, where she is being treated for mild emphysema, the result smoking too many cigarettes and crack cocaine...Nick Cave, the Australian rock star, is planning to erect a giant statue of himself in Warracknabeal, the Australian town where he grew up. The proposed £29,000 bronze image will depict the singer stripped to the waist riding a roaring stallion. Barry Hill, a music lecturer at RMIT University, has reservations: "He's got a bit of a history of taking the mick out of Australia and his home town."… Ronnie Biggs, the Great Train Robber, is to have his case sent to the Parole Board and could be freed from prison by July next year… ·
