An oil painting of Michelle Obama and her daughter Sasha by the artist Elizabeth Peyton, best known for her images of diverse historical figures and celebrities such as Napoleon and Kurt Cobain, has been unveiled at the New Museum in New York. It is informatively titled Michelle Obama and Sasha Obama Listening to Barack Obama at the Democratic Convention.............Paul Gascoigne, the former England football player, is facing bankruptcy after failing to file his tax returns for two years…………Ginger Baker, the drummer in 1960's band Cream, says he's willing to strip naked to help secure the prosecution of Lindiwe Noko, who he has accused of defrauding him out of £30,000. Baker, 69, is set to come before a court in South Africa, where he now lives, to dispute Noko's claim that the money was a gift and not stolen. To support her assertion that it was given to her, Noko says that she and the musician were once lovers, but Baker says he has a scar on his body that she would know about if this were true, thus the offer to strip off............Damon Albarn says he is thinking about re-forming his old band Blur, including bringing back the Brit pop band's former guitarist Graham Coxon………… ·
