Sharon Osbourne is to be questioned by Los Angeles police after allegedly attacking a contestant on the US reality TV show Rock of Love: Charm School who told her that she was only famous "for managing a brain-dead rock star", a reference to her husband, the rock singer Ozzy Osbourne. Ironically, the show, which Sharon presents, sets out to teach manners to people who have been thrown off other reality shows because of their unruly behaviour………….. In her modeling days, Carla Bruni did not object to posing semi-naked for any number of fashion shoots. However, now she is the wife of the French president it is another matter. Her lawyers have filed a lawsuit against a company for selling a bag featuring a nude image of her, which was originally used in a campaign against Aids in 1993, and are seeking £104,000 by way of compensation on her behalf............ Veteran Hollywood actor Peter Falk's daughter, Catherine, has filed papers at the Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming that her father, 81, best known for role in the US TV detective series Columbo, is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and dementia and is no longer able to run his own life.
