Danny Boyle was named British director of the year at the London Film Critics' Circle Awards last night for Slumdog Millionaire, which also won best film as well as a screenwriting gong for Simon Beaufoy. Kristin Scott Thomas (pictured above with Slumdog star, Dev Patel) won the Best British Actress of the Year prize for the French language film, I've Loved You So Long............ British singer Adele was given the benefit of the US Vogue editor Anna Wintour's style wisdom when she was putting her outfit for the Grammys, which are held this Sunday.
